Control
& Restraint Training Specialist instructors employed by Grosvenor are able to deliver control and restraint training to the staff of reputable organisations employed in close protection, security, event stewarding and other high risk customer-facing roles. Courses are available at varying levels to suit the exact requirements and possible threats being faced by delegates attending a specific training programme. All
techniques taught to delegates are highly effective and are recognised
techniques often used by law enforcement agencies and security professionals
around the world, where the control of hostile or violent people is
required to prevent harm. All techniques are designed to ensure that
the person restrained, or controlled, is handled using minimum force
and within the constraints of the law. Use of such techniques by a
trained operator will ensure that allegations of assault are not made
against trainees. On completion of the relevant course, each candidate will be assessed and, if deemed to be competent, a certificate will be awarded as recognition of such competency. Courses are available at various locations throughout the year or can be conducted at client’s premises. Threat Reduction Training By conducting training sessions, Grosvenor can help to educate staff on how best to identify and minimise the threats and potential risks they may face in their daily working environment. Anyone working in a customer-facing role, particularly when dealing with potentially volatile situations, handling cash and valuables, etc is at risk of assault of varying degrees. Training in such areas is essential in order to protect employees against abuse, intimidation and threat of violence. |
