organisations, together with senior police officers and military personnel
from specialist departments. This vast knowledge bank is available
to assist clients at all times.All Security Personnel employed by Grosvenor Security are the result of an extremely rigorous recruitment, vetting, training and development programme. These procedures exceed the levels set by the British Standards Institute and the security industry's recognised regulating bodies, such as the SIA. All security personnel employed by Grosvenor are licensed by the Security Industry Authority for their specialist activity. The company has achieved ISO 9001-2000 status and Investor in People accreditation. Recruitment All specialists employed by Grosvenor Security are selected for their personal qualities, not merely because they have a military, police, or similar background. A comprehensive selection and interview process ensures that only the very best candidates are offered positions with Grosvenor Security. Even then, any offer of employment is subject to the candidate being cleared by Grosvenor's vetting procedure, undergoing the toughest training program in the security industry, and passing written examinations to prove their competency. Vetting Grosvenor’s vetting procedure is designed around the positive vetting system adopted by the military, which exceeds the levels stipulated by the Security Industry Authority and BSI. Rest assured that any employee working for Grosvenor Security will not have criminal convictions (subject to the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974). These assurances also extend to the financial stability of employees and their work history and qualifications. Training All Grosvenor Security personnel are fully trained to meet and exceed the standards set by the Security Industry Authority, enabling them to confidently deal with any incident. Because of the specialist nature of much of the work undertaken by Grosvenor Security, only personnel with specific experience, knowledge, training and licensing will be assigned to meet a client’s specific needs. |
